We have been serving our clients in the charter yacht industry since Tachyon Yachting, LLC opened its doors in 2006.  Previous to brokering yacht vacations, we spent 2 years as crew on board a crewed charter yacht in the Virgin Islands, and we are now crewed yacht owners as well as yacht managers.   Our office is in the heart of the Virgin Islands - St Thomas - and we work closely with several yacht management companies and clearinghouses all over the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Having worked as Captain and Chef/Dive-Master onboard a crewed charter catamaran for two years, and owning a crewed catamaran ourselves, we are very familiar with the ins and outs of the charter yacht industry and can pass this in-depth knowledge on to our clients to help ensure the best possible vacation experience.

We attend annual charter yacht boat shows and keep up to date on the yacht crews and bareboat companies by visual inspections of the yachts we book, and by client reviews of the yachts, their crews, and/or the charter company that chartered the yacht.  All of our brokerage services and advice are absolutely free to our clients, so please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have in regard o the charter industry.

Living in the Virgin Islands gives us the opportunity to inspect yachts and keep up to date with the professional crews (many of whom we know personally from our chartering days) as they come in and out of the marinas and anchorages in St Thomas throughout the year. We’re also on hand and available to help for those vacations booked for the Virgin Islands if there are any kind of last minute problems, flight issues, or even baggage issues.  Living on island allows us to help problem solve logistical issues that other, off-island brokers may not be able to.
